Snow Poem by Dr Shamim Ali

Snow

Snow
Silence at night serene and quiet
When the bough waves from the tree
Dangles all over while
Leaves fly from the boughs
Windows clad in snow
God used all hues of white,
On the canvas of earth
Earth begins to move with joy
As ice walks onto it
Invaluable souvenirs disperse
Everywhere wrapped in white chiffon
Tied with silver ribbon
Trees are ornamented
with silver crystal pearls
