Snow Poem by Michael Loring

Snow

The fluffy white snow falls from the sky,
I take a deep breath and let out a cold sigh.
I look to the left I turn to the right,
it’s like fluffy white marshmallows within my sight.

There is crunching underneath our boots,
as we walk on our way,
we fall into the snow beginning to laugh and play.

The snow smells so crisp and clean,
it’s as if I awoke from a wonderful dream.

We stick out our tongues to catch the frozen snow,
it’s the watery taste we already know.

The fluffy white snow that we touch with our wool knitted mittens,
feels like the soft fur on our cute little kittens.

It’s needless to say, that my sister and I, found a glorious surprise!
