Snow Aria Poem by Bishoy Sargius

Snow Aria

As the first note is played, Winter's song begins.
As two twin clouds gather to once again be together,
From them what is born is a lonesome Snowflake,
Falling ever so gently in the sky,
The Wind bows requesting to dance with the little Snowflake,
They begin with a gentle and delicate waltz,
For the Wind fears that it may harm the tiny snowflake.
Slowly but surely the tiny snowflake takes the stage by itself,
With grace it falls in the palms of the open grey Sky.
The Snowflake falls all alone but it does not feel alone.
It knows that the clouds, the Wind, the Sky, and everything around it is watching,
Watching the snowflake's ever so graceful fall,
The snowflake is at the center of the stage dazzling everything with its elegance,
Slowly but rhythmically waltzing across the gray stage made for it.
As the lonesome Snowflake falls it feels the song beginning to end,
It dances more passionately,
It knows that once it touches the Earth its performance would be over,
With more grace and more elegance it gives it its all,
Slowly inching closer it moves like it has never done so before,
Like a ballerina it floats across its stage in pure perfection,
Falling, falling, falling.
The Snowflake's waltz has come to the end,
But the Snowflake is no longer alone.
Around the lonesome snowflake are thousands of other who've all danced the same waltz.
The snowflake is no longer tiny, no longer lonesome, and no longer a snowflake.
The final note is played, the only actor exits, and there is silence.
The entire Earth is quite and wears a blanket of white,
The winds then begins to sing a gentle song of a performance that has moved it,

It sings a Snow Aria
