Snow Day

Rating: 4.0
Today we woke up to a revolution of snow,
its white flag waving over everything,
the landscape vanished,

schools and libraries buried, the post office lost
under the noiseless drift,
the paths of trains softly blocked,
the world fallen under this falling.

A perfect composure. All holted by the extreme snow. The chirpy children's voice had died only because of snow. My charm is lost for I cannot see them enjoy and be overjoyed. Congratulations for poetry of the day

If it's a snow day, why are the kids pictured as being at school?
