Snowflake Poem by lisa moore

Snowflake

Rating: 5.0

A snowflake tenderly touches my nose cooling my warm cheeks.
An additional one fell into my fingers.
I looked and saw it dissolve.
Its existence as a snowflake is gone, it is now water.
Though icy it may be.
A gentle wind came and the snowflakes ran around.
I felt some on my neck,
Running down my back.
Mixing with the tears i try so hard to hide.
They whispered compassionately in my ears.
I unexpectedly felt so alone,
And finally let a smile come out.
