So Cold The Winter Seed Poem by Merlene Campbell

So Cold The Winter Seed

So cold the winter seed
Within the frost a meager need
Seeking the sun the light and warmth
To be coddled like the normal sort
But alone and cold the ice will melt
The winter ends the life rejoice
In the morn the sun will heal
The abnormal life that love has healed
