Let me be as pure as rain, where I touch giving life again
Like the fine soft grass, soothing the feet of all that pass
I want to grow as old as a river, like the sun be a generous giver
Be a verdant tree, who's shade gives respite to the hot and weary
As a bird let my song cheer the weak and strong lifting spirits of the dreary
So then consider, if all of this I did deliver
Nature has, no thanks were given, we try to replace her expecting to be forgiven
