So lightly and so softly,
the touch at mornings light,
so sweetly and so tenderly,
the kiss that says goodnight.
When the afternoon has settled,
and the evening has it's start,
the warmth her smile gives me,
starts the fire of my heart.
The nectar of her love,
is like the water in my lake,
whatever I may have is hers to take,
... and well she knows it.
She gives as much to me,
as I try to give to her,
for there is nothing in this world,
worth her worth.
So lightly in the morning,
I kiss her as she sleeps,
because I like to watch her do that,
sometimes it's all that I can do...
... to keep from weeping.
So lightly and so softly,
we get playful, but so quiet,
we share so sweet and tender,
our kiss that says goodnight.
There's a certain dreamlike quality about this one...it's very lovely...: -) Hugs, dee
