An so we must live...
she said
-unable to shoote him
or even
slit her own wrsts

And so we must live
she cried
-fighting the devils in
her flesh
and in her head

And so we must live
she smiled
-eyes twinkling with romance
while laughing
away her every trouble

And so we must live
she thought
-pondering her crooked line
of life
as fate had stumbled

And so we must live
she knew
-for no loans, lists
or scheduals
in the whole world
can change
the fact that we
are all
heading towards a secure
and unpredictable
Death
