Soft As A Mouse's Heartbeat Poem by Sheena Blackhall

Soft As A Mouse's Heartbeat

Rating: 5.0

Soft as a mouse's heartbeat
My tears still drop in the dark
I saw his tsunami coming
But did not build an ark

It smashed through his thin defences
Flooded his floundering heart
Pounded his life to atoms
No reprieve now, no fresh start

When you break someone's tea cup, you can paste it, but it will never be the same. You need to buy a new one. When you break someone's heart, you can not paste it or buy it. " no fresh start"
