Solace Is The Sunset Poem by Geraldine Kelly

Solace Is The Sunset

Rating: 5.0

Crimson skies surround the fiery glow,
Amber awe on faces below.
Close of day so beautifully displayed,
With pinks and grey oranges and red..

The splendour exhibits are to you a solace gift
Reaching your soul as the day's stresses lift
So look up, embrace the beauty that is given
Everyday if you can, for as long as you are living.

Beautiful poem expressing awe and joy of one of natures most glorious moments. I was in Ireland 2 years ago and really enjoyed my visit. I keep thinking I want to move there! :)
