Solitary blues, I welcome you
If only for my creativity
I cannot have you lurking in the shadows
Ready to embrace me with your sweet and painful claw

Solitary blues, you always inspire me
Out of pain and sadness came profound realities
Realities I would have never known
If I was on cloud nine of contentment.

Solitary blues, why don't you pay my love a visit?
Have him taste your sweet wine
I know if he tasted you
He will know I ache for him.
