Solitude Poem by prabhakar bhatlekar

Solitude

Rating: 5.0

Space within two words
burst out upheaval melting
all definitions.
Life, gone like a passing breeze.
Fascinated by a beautiful frame
in my hand, am waiting
for a picture to fill it.
A passing breeze, thrilling me
zoomed through the vacant frame.
Suddenly..
I burst in to laughter.Joyous
and releasing, shaking my
whole body, tears rolling down
the chicks.
Oh, such a intoxicating fun!
The magical breeze... making
me stepping out of my body
to watch the unmoved
solitude

Solitude is what we all face as our brain/ minds are encased under our craniums. Imaginative. ps change chicks to cheeks.

The way you compared life to a passing breeze is amazing..my though went to John McGahern's Memoir, where he compared life to a flash of light in the darkness..Your poem is wonderfully written and moving.10 +++
