Some days are just like that,
they impose their will on you.
You may want different things,
may employ all your strength,
all your wits, try all tricks…
And all that to no avail
as the day has decided to sail
with you aboard
to some other destinations,
expose you to entirely
different sensations,
new ideas and relations;
to throw you in every
which way there is,
toss you up in the air and
let you fall where you may
or may not please…
Some days are just like that,
they impose their will on you,
play with you like a cat
would play with a mouse,
simply to remind you
of the order of things, and show
who crawls on the ground
and who's got wings.
