Some Friends Leave Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Some Friends Leave

You left and I let you go
There were no hurts or regrets
True love is freedom, it is so -
And with us, there's no need to fret.
It is not that I never cared
Some changes we need to face
Roads turn for us who dared,
Some of us don't leave a trace.
And in Life we must accept
Some friends come and some go
Keep in mind that I never left
The door's open, if you must know.
