Some Moments In Life Require A Bullhorn Poem by Bryan Corbett

Some Moments In Life Require A Bullhorn

i am a quiet man
a peaceful man
a man who likes to
keep to himself, and
appreciates it immensely
when my fellowman does the same

live and let live
i always say

but,
sometimes, like now
in these moments when
vicious thoughts of anger
overwhelm my typically quiet mind
as i'm trying to get off the elevator
and wish more than anything
that i had a bullhorn

CLICK:

'GOSH DARN IT, WOULD ALL OF YOU
MENTALLY-CHALLENGED PEOPLE
PLEASE LET ME GET OFF THE FRIGGIN'
ELEVATOR BEFORE YOU TRY TO GET ON IT?
FOR PETE'S SAKE WHY DO WE HAVE TO DO THIS
EVERY SINGLE TIME THE DOORS OPEN UP?
LET ME GET OFF THE DAMN THING FIRST.
TRUST ME, IT'S FOR THE BEST.
PLEASE? ! ? ! '

click.

thank you.
that is all...
