Some Portals



as you enter
this solid portal you heave a sigh
and realize
the minuteness of the sand granule in your being

you go inside and keep your rage
time calms you down
and the shortness of your breath says

it is time to leave, and you summon haste
like some tiny wings on your feet

you're gone and those that stay
mind you, are not disturbed at all.
