Some Rain Must Fall Poem by Patti Masterman

Some Rain Must Fall

Rating: 5.0

Never steal the white from the bride,
The scent from the rose,
The sob from the quiet;
Never throw the rice at the lame-
It's not the same; they're out of the game.

Never take the song from the heart,
The smile from the eyes,
The wick from the dark;
Never leave the movie before
They show you the star; then kill her some more.
