pain strike over the horizon
tears rushing down like a pouring rain
sadness breaking 'till dawn
sleepless night still counting in
emptiness and sorrow crushing my spine

we built a strong foundation
of love and trust unselfishly
I give my time my devotion
my all unconditionally.

but as the days went on
true color reveal
you forgot how we started how we deal.
you used me to climb up the stairs
fit into my shoe to step on the ladder
wear my knowledge to reach the peak
when you gathered all and have what it takes..
you dragged me down and left undone..

Now I am solo
how can I move on and start again?
when the shadow of darkness still remain
you took everything
what's left is the empty feeling
filled with nothing but pain..
