Someone I Met Along The Way.
A friend is one who comforts
when others are out of sync.
Who gives their time and counsel
without stopping to think.
You are one of those friends
who are so hard to find.
And when I'm really feeling lost,
you spring into my mind.
For you made me feel so good inside
when in your company.
Like being warm and safe
on a sunny shore
Instead of being lost at sea.
