Some's Faith Poem by Randy McClave

Some's Faith

Some carry a gun for their own protection
They are like a frightened child,
They have lost their spiritual direction
They are like the Jews denying God in the wild.

I always wear a cross hung around my neck
For proof and belief of my lord and his salvation,
It gives me power and strength and respect
In any situation.

I worship the lord with a cross
Never has he wanted me to kill instead I have prayed,
My soul will not be tricked or used or become loss
As those who worship their Lord with a bandaid.

I know that a weapon is never in control
No matter of any story, or rumors or tale,
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but can't kill the soul
Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
