Something

...It’s something people weave..
Something all can perceive
Unlike a diamond, it doesn't shine
Yet, one proudly says, its mine!
It isn't extravagant like an orchid bloom
...More like laburnum, in the month of June!
..It’s neither free nor mighty as a river
But like water, sometimes it too can shimmer..
It’s not deep, nor swift..
But high enough, to give you a lift!
It’s not engulfing like the ocean
But consuming, like a hug in slow motion...
It’s not a priceless dainty present
More like a flower, which is ever so pleasant!
It’s not like the strength after pain..
it’s like the happy splatter of the first few drops of rain!
It’s not a treasure too hard to find..
It’s like a tip one gets, when the customer's kind!
..No wicked witch, no magic lamp, no fantasy
..It’s the sweeter side of realty
...It’s not eternal......nor magnificent like a tree..
Its sweet and simple...like You and Me!
