Something Missed Poem by Barry Middleton

Something Missed

do you ever speak my name
and dream of days gone by

if this is so please tell me true
and do you breathe a sigh

did you turn and walk away
to never need my kiss

do you confess admitting love
is treasure you still miss

for if you do I welcome you
I have not lost my place

if you return a fire still burns
a passionate embrace
