Something Struck
Something struck

I was alarmed
But was not harmed
I found the shadow
That was growing larger
Why should it happen in an illusory way?
Why was I losing identity in this way?
Did I think about bad omen?
Was it sending me a signal about going to heaven?
I just shivered
And angered me too
But I thought it wise
Not to entertain any idea to surprise
Some old quotes puzzled me too
My mind was shaken by religious belief
"Whoever has come on earth"
He has to leave this world after death
I struggled to keep calm
Even though there was no apparent harm
It reminded me of futility of human being
I consoled self and tried to bring calmness
