Day on Day you see people pass on the wave of success
Leaving you behind with your failure
Laughing at you in their success parties
On how you couldn’t make it.
They say you never had it in you
They knew it before, and like that
Sometimes life just doesn’t give you a break
You sit and wonder, what went wrong
Why your efforts never pay
Success eludes you and failure sticks to you
But atleast it loves you and stays by you
All you love and care deserts you and
Sometimes life just still doesn’t give you a break
Friends turn into acquaintance and then strangers as they sucessed
Not wishing to be associated with you
Ignoring you seems to be right choice
Not wishing to rub your bad luck on to them
Sometimes life just doesn’t give you a break
Your alone with your shattered dreams
Wishing things would be otherwise
Replaying all the things you did in the past
Worrying about the opportunities gone by and
Sometimes life just doesn’t give you a break
