He looked out o'er that empty space,
And there he saw within that place.
That vast and lonely spacious land;
Filled with beauty, peace, and grace.
The stars o'er head that outward spanned
That stretched out o'er that whispering sand.
Where not a sound, throughout was heard,
Within this dead and dried up land.
The songs they whispered out each night;
Upon those winds then all take flight.
The sands, they whisper soft their songs,
Beneath the moon so full and bright.
Within this world, each sound belongs;
Where 'neath the stars, those grains did throng.
On winds that flow, by which they're stirred;
As there they whisper out their songs.
Flow now on over me this eve;
Help me please to now perceive.
The wonders of this arid place;
Where peace, those sand then weave.
Help my heart to no more grieve'
Help me that I may receive.
Through the wonders of this place;
That peace those sands now wieve.
