i have abandon everything i have ever known
anything i have ever loved
the only thing i take with me is hope
hope that i could one day help my family survive
hope that along the many miles
while i loose so many smile's
shed many tears, and gain so many fears
cross so many counties only to reach one country i could find opportunity.
i know i could loose my life and on this journey for survival i might die,
but that is the risk i must endure to survive, so i will leave everything behind.
and dream of better times, in search for the pursuit of happiness praying one day i find

now many call me a criminal.. some even illegal but all i want is to be
equal.

i dedicate these simple words to the many thousand that lost their lives on their journey for a better life.
