Above the skies where darkness reigns
Man's dreams die a natural death
Grass on the meadows is never green
Gray suit is not the dress to die in.
Seas donot weep under duress
Life deserves a proper closure
Dusk is not a promise of dawn
It's an end in itself, The End.
In Underworld where silence reigns
Rivers of eternal gloom flow
A jackal's howl says end is near;
With Cerberus guarding his side
Lord of the dark worlds falls silent
his words have flown down the Lethe.
This is my very first attempt on a Sonnet. On the netherworld, where Darkness Reigns!
Lethe is the River of Forgetfulness, one of the five Rivers of the Underworld
Cerberus is the three-headed dog of The Hades

This is my first attempt on a Sonnet. Your comments are awaited
