Sonnet 128, Oh Love Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Sonnet 128, Oh Love

Rating: 5.0

Oh love, the coming rays of burning light,
With all the hopes in your smiles and tears;
In every search and every immense height,
With someone who understands and cares.
Atmospheric sunshine, oh playful rays,
Of every breath you give away or take;
The yes in every answer and obeys,
The truthful passion only love can make.
Oh love, oh love, my sweetest hummingbird,
Which sings so sweetly tunes from there within;
And always, always, gently at me stirred,
And truly let your ardent passion spin.
You speak to me with tender words on lips,
And all you say, like dew from flowers drips.
