How many times have I walked to and fro
Along the shore dipping my feet beneath
Glassy aquamarine waters' flow
To wash away my pain from underneath?
Feeling the ebb and flow of ev'ry wave,
My feet and toes submerged but ankles dry.
The soggy dense-packed sand acts as a pave-
Ment with disappearing steps out of sight.
Move forward and leave the footsteps behind
Allowing them to erode into the sea.
Emotions emerging, escape my mind
Refreshing the thoughts, returning to me.
Or shall I dive deep and go for a swim,
Allowing the briny waters within?
