Sonnet 59, I Dream Within A Dream Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Sonnet 59, I Dream Within A Dream

I dream within a dream of summer days,
Ever changing sky of new horizon;
Again coming together in unborn ways,
Guessing that's not stillborn in the new sun.
Many clouds that disappear from blue skies,
Remembering that parted long ago;
Falling tears that choked time that away dies,
In winter frost - like pearls that again glow.
Everything of you worth remembering,
Where clouds have not yet made forgetful shapes;
Nor shadows coming together for aging,
With each craving tasting like the soured grapes.
Lyric of my dreams, is it wishful thinking?
When days of the past are like eyes blinking.
