Sonnet For Nichole Poem by Q.. Kaye

Sonnet For Nichole

My skin is dry, whithout blood;
When my eyes close, I can feel your taste
The rainbow that shines in my inner eye
Feels like a black-hole of emotion.

Enraptured, dark, autumnal leaves
Fall like snowflakes ona winters night
Your hand reaches out -
It feels warm as the sun; a furnace.

Nights are cold, mute, silent;
Darkness desents like a fog
Suffocation of voice, I am void.

But you speak; your sound makes
My dawn light shine, your voice
Brings riches to my heart beyond my wildest dreams.
