Sonnet: Gods Love Retold Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Gods Love Retold

God feeds the tiger, elephant and deer;
He protects eagles and the tiniest bird;
He loves all creatures, young, old, foes, those dear;
His love is unique, immense and unheard!

God sends the sun and rain to all alike;
His anger's transient; sympathy prolonged;
Sin is the only thing, He does dislike;
He forgives penitent who says he wronged!

The heart of God has love that always flows;
He makes each creature for a purpose fine;
The heart of man to seek God always goes;
The things God does will come in His timeline!

How lucky are those born as men, women!
Can we afford to miss God's love, heaven?
