Sonnet: Happy Once Again Poem by Dr John Celes

Today I feel so happy once again,
For yesterday, I felt so glum indeed!
Despite the heat, it feels like summer rain!
Life’s high spirits are back in life to lead!

Life’s struggles seem to ease out in God’s ways;
My heart is full of joy as dam’s are full;
Pleasant will be the months ahead and days;
A smile returns to face that was quite dull!

My toil, perseverance has paid off well;
God was with me in all I did so far;
No more the place around me looks like hell!
I sense my victory in my life-time’s war!

God’s plans for me are laid with utmost care;
In disbelief, at feats of mine, I stare!
