Sonnet: Hues Of Sunrise Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Hues Of Sunrise

The night of darkness seems to end at last;
The moonlight bathed the waterfall and trees;
The silent night has gone away so fast;
First rays of dawn have stimulated bees!

The dark silhouettes of rocks and shrubs turn light;
The waterfall is seen in silver shade;
The early dawn has birth in strange twilight;
The verdure state returns to each grass blade!

The sun emerges patterning the sky;
The splash of water breaks into a dawn;
The chirping birds in groups begin to fly;
Amidst the golden clouds, a sun is born!

The sunrise warms both hearts of evil, good;
Their gratitude to God, express all should!
