Sonnet: Human Angels? Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Human Angels?

S(he) is an angel almost upon earth!
But angels dwell in heaven, serving God;
Are human beings angels at their birth?
Still angels come to earth as per God's nod.

Some human beings live in godliness;
God takes them off so early to serve Him;
He can't postpone their celestial happiness;
He's sad to see devils turn their life grim!

Some righteous beings toil with aim divine;
If not for them this world cannot be good;
They are a branch of Jesus Lord as Vine;
And heaven offers manna as their food!

Yet, God allows devils to rampage world;
But satan knows to hell, they will be hurled!
