Sonnet: I Don'T Want To, But I Have To Ask Why Poem by Selina Gurgacz

Sonnet: I Don'T Want To, But I Have To Ask Why

I don’t want to, but I have to ask why
You are telling me that you feel this way,
That you see me when you look at the sky,
By thinking of me helps you through the day.
Why should I care that you’re telling me this,
Now I can tell you that I feel the same,
We can be happy, our lives full of bliss,
Together forever, glad that you came.
I couldn’t imagine life without you,
I do think of you each day and each night,
I never want to hear, ‘our love is through, ’
Our love is strong as we have seen the light.
This is a journey and it’s just the start,
Together forever, never to part.
