Sonnet: (In Hexameter) Sing A Song Anew To God Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: (In Hexameter) Sing A Song Anew To God

With joyful lips, you sing a song anew to God;
By singing hymns of praise, your prayer reaches fast;
For David king had sung his psalms and danced to Lord;
The heart of God is filled with joy by hymns so vast.

The Lord our God is always eager to us bless;
His love exudes from furnace of his loving heart;
He will bestow his righteous souls with happiness;
Let's sing a song anew from depths of heart with art.

The Lord our God has made us all in His image;
His kindness flows without any limits to man;
Our songs and hymns divine subdue the Maker's rage;
To gain His grace and mercy thus, we sinners can.

Sing Alleluia, glorifying King of Kings!
The joy of heaven rains blessings on all earthlings.
‘On my beloved Father-in-law's birthday'
