Sonnet: In Old Age, Can You? Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: In Old Age, Can You?

Can you prevent becoming older, tell?
Can you avoid the wrinkles on aged face?
Can you stay healthy always keeping well?
Can you keep running without change of pace?

Can you stop fall of hair from off your head?
Can you off-set the loss of memory?
Can you end life without becoming dead?
Can you lead life without any worry?

Can you give back the love of elderly?
Can you take care of them when pretty old?
Can you be kind in talk, not cruelly?
Can you give warmth to hearts of loved ones cold?

Can you bring back the smiles to aging souls?
Can you give dignity to age with goals?
