Sonnet: Revere Your Teachers While Alive Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Revere Your Teachers While Alive

Rating: 5.0

Lucky, we were to have some teachers great -
Who taught us well, whatever they knew then;
But what returns do students make till date?
They find no time to see those men, women.

The least, a student does is study well,
And lead the noble life like teachers dear;
A better thing is visit them and tell
Some words of kindness, soothing to the ear.

How many students find the time for these?
Our life on earth is busy and goes fast;
Can't we to teachers share some bliss and peace?
Their noble lives are soon, a thing of past!

Teach students to reciprocate their love
While teachers are alive, and not above!
R.I.P. all souls of our teachers dear!

A student studies well when he has positive mind. A nice sharing you have done.10
