Sonnet: This Is Life Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: This Is Life

Rating: 4.0

If life appears suddenly very cold,
Just pull your blanket o’er; wait for sometime;
The young someday must grow and become old,
And warmth returns to every home and door.

If life looks lonely all of a sudden,
Don’t you worry; it means someone will come;
Lies in your hands to make all things happen;
So work towards a goal and don’t be dumb.

If life suddenly makes you to feel sick,
’Tis time you paid attention to your health;
No light must flicker when it burns by wick;
A sound mind in a sound body is wealth.

Both joys and sorrows come in life always,
And make our stay memorable all days.
