Sonnet: Walking With Nature Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Walking With Nature

Oh how lovely ’tis to go for a stroll,
In the early morning or in evening!
When road is clear and you are the lone soul;
With cool a breeze and the lovebirds singing!

Oh how lovely ’tis to take a deep breath,
Brisk-walking when the air is very clean!
Life-span is lengthened and postponed is death!
Invigorating, the exercise has been.

Oh how lovely ’tis a solitary walk!
One’s mind thinking of things goodly ahead;
Having friend Nature, only one to talk,
And have a short rest there-after in bed.

The more a person endears friend Nature,
The more you remain healthy in future.
