Sonnet Xxvii - My Lady, I Would Deem To Take Thy Hand Poem by Valerie Dohren

Sonnet Xxvii - My Lady, I Would Deem To Take Thy Hand

Rating: 5.0

My lady, I would deem to take thy hand
For thou art all this heart does so desire
I wouldst forever be at thy command
And gift to thee all that thou should require
My love for thee is deeper than the sea
Thus never yet to fade in night's embrace
No matter what the world may bring to me
I'll live as long as I can see thy face
Thou art an angel sent from heav'n above
To grace this earth with all thy wondrous charms
I pray that you will give to me thy love
Enclose me in thy tender gentle arms
………… Such love as this is never set to die
………… As long as all the stars burn in the sky
