Soon Poem by Shalyn Stachmus

Soon

Rating: 4.0

If you die in the morning sun,
Don't return in the afternoon.
If you return once more for love,
I pray you'll be leaving soon.

No one wants you here.

You can't deny, that in the sky,
I was always rain.
You know you're wrong, when all along,
Love was always pain.

No one wants you here.

If you fail to fix disaster,
Don't expect to have your room.
If you start falling faster,
I pray you'll reach the end real soon.

No one wants you here.

Tell no more lies, for in the night,
You do not exist.
Please go away, for in the day,
I cannot resist.

No one wants you here.

If you have taught your heart to breathe,
I guess you'd better tell the moon.
If you have taught yourself to feel,
I pray you'll feel something soon.
