Sooner Or Later Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Sooner Or Later

You were my best friend
been that way for years.
We knew each other's secrets
our dreams and our fears.

When we started falling in love
It started to get complicated.
You wanted your space
So I gave it and waited.

We promised each other
through thick and thin.
I never thought I'd have to beg you
for a way to be let back in.

You just locked me out
but then gave others the key.
I never thought it'd be this easy
for you to turn on me.

Sooner or later
You'll realize what you lost.
I won't be waiting around anymore
So I hope she was worth the cost.
