Sorry Poem by Jenny Anderson

Im told sorry.
But is it ment?
Or words just used to fill the silence.
Why is it when I say sorry im called a liar?
Or told to stop?
I believe that word has lost its meaning.
People dont say it because they're truly sorry.
They say it just to say it.
Like after they hear a heartbreaking story,
1 out of 2 things said are:
1. I dont know what to say hun
2. *silence* im sorry
In this generation people say its me, myself, and I.
Im telling you im not like everyone else.
When I say something I mean it.
Unless im angry.
Thats when I tend to say stuff I dont mean.
And I get pretty vicious.
So to all the people ive said unment things....
...I say this....
...and I mean it....
