This is a poem
For three beautiful children
I’m not going to be seeing them for much longer
And I’m really going to miss them
I’m sorry to have to write this
My little Eddy Teddy,
But I think your old enough now
I think you are ready
To learn that your father
Is a horrible, selfish man
And only does things
Because he knows he can
I’m sorry to have to write this
My little Milly Moo,
I think it’s time you heard,
I think it’s time you knew
Your father is a different man
From who he used to be
He used to be happy,
And he cared about me
I’m sorry to have to write this
My little Rosie Roo,
You need to know what your father’s capable of
What he is able to do
Don’t ever let him scare you
Don’t make the mistake I did
I’ve never confronted him
Even when I was a kid
So you see now
What I am trying to say
I’m trying to make you aware
So just be brave
You don’t have to stay there.
But whatever you do
Just always remember
I will always love you
