Soul Call Poem by Lynette Hazel

Soul Call

The soul of a poet tethered to exigencies.
Yearning for deliverance,
Seeking absolution.
A soul in shackles,
Shaking these chains,

Straining to
Close the distance between mundane needs and
Spritual fulfillment.

Answering my calling.
