Soulmate Poem by Peter Hoskins

Soulmate

Rating: 5.0

One night I prayed for someone to love
someone who fit me like hand in a glove
he must have been listening to my heartfelt plea
because in a short time he revealed you to me
Brown hair, green eyes, body to die for
personality to match, sense of humour galore
Everything you are, inside and out
I love and from rooftops I will shout
I would cross broken glass for more than a mile
if I knew it would bring you a gorgeous smile
when your next to me I'm on top of the world
such a lucky man to find a special girl
You have made me laugh you've made me cry
still I feel I'm a lucky lucky guy
So my darling this poem is for you
just as a way of saying I love you.
