Somewhere in time and space
Two hearts reverberate
With love, passion and grace
No death can obdurate
Tireless, they race
To each other's embrace
Defying norms and creeds
Limits and boundaries
Their lasting love exceeds
Eons and centuries
Without the needs
Of mortal form that bleeds
As such were you and I
Converging to become
One soul to jointly sigh
Instead of this twosome
To quest the sky
And beseech Heaven why.
